Commissions
I offer a bespoke commissioning service for public, corporate and domestic environments. The process includes an initial discussion with the client, site visits, design and the offer of a studio visit to see the work being made.
During the process I work closely with the client or commissioning body to develop an artwork that relates to the site visually and conceptually.
In the studio we can develop designs using computer aided design, 3D printing and traditional maquettes that enable you to visualise the artwork completely.
For an initial discussion about the commissioning process please get in contact on mail@julianwild.com
Gathering 2023 Commissioned by the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail
An installation made in conjunction with students from The Heart of the Forest School. Based on woodland forms: the colours, spacing, mirror polished elements and texture panels were developed through workshops and consultations. The installation is one of the first sculpture installations on the trail to be wheelchair accessible.

Origin 2017 Commissioned by The University of Oxford
Origin celebrates the ground breaking work that takes place at The Li Ka Shing Centre for Health Information and Discovery. Focusing on the culture of the institution and the interface between clinical research and Big Data, the artwork makes a visual representation of genetic data that passes from one structure to the next with the central elements gradually changing from geometric to organic forms.
